Our Company History
In Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky by the mid-1800s, 36 breweries were producing more than 30 million gallons of beer. One batch at a time, Cincinnati’s beer barons turned humble brewing operations into beer-making empires that prospered until Prohibition forced them all to close. 135 years later you can now quench your beer thirst with the pre - prohibition beer style revival now known as The Motors American Ale. Still brewed in small batches on Vine St. The Motors Brewing Company is a production only facility. Our beer can only be found on tap and in cans inside bars,restaurants,retail and many other venues throughout Ohio. Grab a Motors and take the ride into Cincinnati Beer history when quantity never compromised quality.
