Our Company History
Brewing in Cincinnati started with the English but was expanded by its humble beginnings by the arrival of German immigrants, by the 1840's 13,000 resided in Cincinnati and brought their love of beer with them. At that time Ales and Lagers were prominent brews throughout our city. Consumption increased and the German beer influence met with English styles brought a wide range of beer production that would soon place Cincinnati on the map as one of the largest beer producing cities in the world. Born in Over The Rhine in the heart of The Historical Cincinnati Brewing District in 2018. Founder Keith Spurling set out to bring back the 1800's prominent style of beer Cincinnati was known for. We are a family owned company and love our brewing heritage. The recipe revival of our Motors American Ale reflects the partnerships and developments created Pre - Prohibition and will take you back in time with a taste of Cincinnati Beer History using modern day ingredients during a time when quantity never compromised quality. Our Motors American is brewed in small batches and contains a balance of a hard working two row grain with a German - American Hop Twist. We feel this Hop combo represents the German and American Settlers that came together and literally built our city on beer. We hope this close to period correct pint filled with history and packed with flavor will quench your Cincinnati beer thirst and leave you yelling for another.
